Our Story
We are Mark & Carol and we became a couple 5 years ago. We live in Aberdeenshire, Mark has lived in Ardallie for 22 years, originally from Aberdeen and I was brought up in Moray. We have four children between us, a dog, 2 guinea pigs and a tank full of fish.
We are lucky enough to live in the beautiful Aberdeenshire countryside and have a field. As well as our love for the countryside we also love Christmas. We were looking for something to grow in our field.
After some research, we found out that of the 8 million real Christmas trees bought every year, an estimated 6 million trees went to landfill, or put through the chipper. We then came up with the idea of growing our own Christmas trees and renting them out over Christmas time.
In 2022 we started growing Christmas trees in pots and have been developing our ideas ever since. In 2024 you will be able to pick your individual tree and this will be your unique family tree for you to adopt for 3 weeks over Christmas and we will care for it for the other 49 weeks.
